hmmm interesting exercise this, quite revealing too;
hirr - heard the name, Alkad Mzu or someone, active in CFS? Oracle - serious roleplay corp, have been there since the beginning, took a major political gamble with the CA ... outcome still unknown. Space Invaders - used to be fantastic, I really loved them at the beginning, then hated them when they sided with Ragnar and his magic hat. They seem to have dropped recruiting standards recently. Ryoko's bb dominix holdup is still hilarious though. PIE - used to hate these guys on roleplaying principle but they have won me round with quality pragmatics and decent players. Macross Combat Corporation - naughty assassins for hire, triggered an amusing political scandal and as just, to be encouraged ... Deathstar International - I believe they are hardcore pirate hunters? TetraCorp - haven't heard the name. Redemption Inc - not sure, SA maybe? Sword Brigade - I believe they may be ideologically motivated mercs, and they have a very funny chap that links to muppet images when needed by over-serious threads. Nomads - minmatar guerillas? Red Corsairs - I remember them being scary a long time ago ... but I think they triggered the CA CFS war more recently. Fatal Shadows - Reclaimer is actually quite funny and talks a surprising amount of sense at times. (Fatal Shadows is a great name!) Mishfakah - haven't a clue sadly Storm Guard Elite - ditto The Jovian Strain - A great idea for a corp ... I loved the background story. Satal's Legion - never heard of them. Black Omega Security - I see a lot of their postings in the CA vs FA/SA threads Genco - they get about an awful lot. Everlasting Vendetta - good standard of forum writing from their people ... and Josh is pretty amusing - I will find the time to chat soon Civil Deity (or you can spank me) ;) Solar Knights Inc - no idea Q-Labs - TTI front corp ... was KOS'ed during the civil war. No idea what they do now. Doped Player's Inc. I have good reports of these chaps from NVA allies Reikoku - the best fun frigate and cruiser combat corp in the game - what the "merc frigates" dreamed of being. Northern Guerilla Reaver Unit - serious roleplayers I think, they made a decision based on their principles ... rare. CyberDyne Industries - a serious economic outfit in a medium-sized package - politically astute British Space Corporation - they helped create the NVA and stuck the first boot into Ragnar's magic hat emporium - classy EVE Guardian - news as it should be done ... it annoys virtually everyone and thats a sign they are achieving their objectives. RONA Corporation - serious megacorp, good allies, one of about half a dozen large corps with the management smarts to stay active and focused in Eve. Oberon Incorporated - a class act, I was impressed before they joined NVA, even more impressed now. Galactic Foreign Legion - not really sure KIA CORP - I am so proud I recruited these guys for the VA ... they have achieved more than anyone thought possible. Absolutely rock solid and steadfast fighters. Quantum Industries - have heard the name and are looking at their resume ;) Taggart Transdimensional - fabulous enemies, I really enjoyed the civil war. Ragnar was a nutcase though, and graphically illustrated the majority of Machiavelli's "flaws for a prince to avoid" in 6 short weeks. Nocturnus Angelus - Don't know Dental Drilling Corporation - yep, its a good name. Band of Builders Inc. - don't know STK Scientific - are they CA or CC? not sure Jericho Fraction - troublemakers Xanadu - best politicians in eve
I will add Evolution - the corp that terrifies more pirates than any other, and Home Erectus is Eve's best smack talker - bar none. He literally owns the competition.
